The incident, which involved both a heavily flowing toilet and an outdoor tap running through a soaker hose, resulted in a total water consumption of 39,672 liters in a short period of time. The alarm from Apurgo’s operations center went off and alerted the municipal technical guard, which led to rapid detection and handling of the situation.
